  • Manitoba employers select skilled workers based on labor market needs.
  • Nominees must demonstrate ongoing employment and a strong connection to the province.
  • Candidates must have sufficient education, training, and language proficiency to contribute to Manitoba’s economy.

International Education Stream

This stream is specifically designed for international graduates from Manitoba post-secondary institutions and includes three sub-streams:

Career Employment Pathway

  • For graduates who have secured long-term employment in an in-demand occupation related to their field of study.
  • Eligible to apply immediately after graduation.

Graduate Internship Pathway

  • For graduates who have completed a Master’s or Ph.D. in Manitoba.
  • No job offer required if they have completed an Accelerated or Elevated internship with Mitacs.
  • Eligible to apply for MPNP immediately after graduation.

International Student Entrepreneur Pilot

  • Allows up to 20 international students per year to start a business instead of seeking employment.

Business Investor Stream

  • Requires active business management and job creation.

Farm Investor Pathway
